Gifted Hands Library and Resource Center: In collaboration with our partner organization KDI (Kounkouey Design Initiative). KDI is a local NGO working in planning and building in Kibera who hired Start Somewhere to build this library. We constructed the two-story building for the Gifted Hands School. All stakeholders were involved in a participatory planning process. Students, teachers and school management are already enjoying using the building. For the first time, colored blocks have been successfully planned and used in a project.
