Thanks to your donations we managed to buy some supplies for the next 2.5 weeks for kids. As shops are closing during the crisis and food is getting very expensive, school is a place where children still get food. Judith Oloo is currently not only taking care of the over 250 children at Oloo's Children Centre but also of their siblings and other kids who didn't manage to buy food in advance. Thanks a lot to Judy and you great people who supported to get through that crisis.
Any support still highly appreciated.

We love passionate responsibility taking - like this of Oliver Von Malm and #StartSomewhere.org's team - that fosters goodness and beauty while averting unnecessary suffering. It's rare and truly heroic. As partners, Start Somewhere aids the Global One feeding program for 470+ children who otherwise would not receive food they desperately need. Global One Kibera Schools give the first holistic education opportunities open to families in Kibera - 50% of our students are orphans. Its inspiring to work together in this vision. ...

School starts again in Kibera!

471 pupils of the Global One Kibera schools are starting their 3rd school term on first Monday of September. Global One Foundation is an american NGO with whom we have been working together in Kibera since 2012.

Thanks to your donations, Start Somewhere is able to cover the daily food in these schools. It is simple but a great start to have porridge for breakfast and rice and beans for lunch.

Thank you so much for your support!!
